About the Founder

Jamey Bass, CFP®

Allen J Bass III (Jamey) is a North Carolina native and a 2001 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has been serving the investment and retirement needs of families and businesses since 2004.

Because of his belief that clients should work with someone who is independent but who also is held to high ethical and education standards Jamey has met the strict criteria to be awarded the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He also holds several security licenses including the Series 7, Series 66, and Series 63 and holds North Carolina life, health, and long term care insurance licenses.

Jamey believes strongly in being active in the community; he currently serves as Senior Warden of the Church of the Good Shepherd in downtown Raleigh where he is a vestry member and has served as the finance committee’s chair, also he is a past president and vice president of the Crabtree-Brier Creek Kiwanis Club.

Jamey, his wife Helen, and their three sons live in the Lochmere community of Cary where they have resided since 2004.
